Syron Street race tyres

  1. Stumbled across these on ebay whilst looking for r888s for my megane and thought I'd have a read uo about them, now I've never heard of these fuckers before but clio cup/civic type r and fast ford forums seem to be rating these very very highly and say they are a side step to the Ad08 but at £260 a set on ebay yes £260 a set they seem like a fucking bargain!

Tread pattern is very similar to the michelin pilot cup2 with the slick edge and reviews stated great wet weather grip amd fantastic dry grip.

Any one ever had any experience with these? Was going to buy a set for my 17 track wheels and try them out.

I'll be contacting the seller on ebay regarding 18" prices

I personally wouldn't bother with them, They grip well but once the wear a bit they fall to pieces. Ive seen 2 sets with the tread blocks coming off in large chunks when used hard on track, Especially with aggressive pads.

  11. Thanks chaps
