  1. IMG_0599.JPG Anyone need a swivel joint? Bought two from r sport but only needed one. £50 delivered

  2. This the same as a ball joint? As my right side is making same knocking noise the left did before I got "Aaron's autos" to replace the joint for £175!

It's the same noise which went after fitting so I can only guess it's a ball joint I need.

That's a Swivel joint, there are two in the hub assembly that's a lower one. Upper one is threaded.

The lower arm also has a balljoints on it which is prone to failure, I can supply the bottom arm balljoints cheaper than anywhere else and it means you don't have to buy a new arm from Renault

  4. Yeah that's one mate. This is the most common thing to go to cause a 'knock'. Garages will charge a big premium as they know renault only supply the hub for around £180. This should take a decent garage an hour to fit tops so this +fitting should be around £100.

  5. I'll have it jack. I'll sort out when to come for it with you over PM

  6. Hi. I know this is sold but im after some advise if you dont mind. I get a knocking noise at parking speed, but the car also seems to wander slightly on the motorway. Its a bit like gusty side on wind is only hitting the front of the car......if you get what i mean ha ha

Swivels most likely, has the symptoms of if

  8. Check for noises through your steering too. Turn the wheel lock to lock inside the car then do it with the window down stood outside the car and listen for 'clicking' or 'squeaking'. There's some really bumpy roads near mine too so tend to head there if I think something is lose, driving down at 20/30mph usually highlights a 'knock' if there is one
