250 Sweet smell through vents

  1. As above. No smell in the engine bay. No loss of coolant. Sweet smell when fans are on in the car. Any ideas?

  2. Washer fluid bottle or pipe leak? I had some sweet smells when my bottle had a crack in it, but since it was under 1/3 filled I only noticed in the winter months.

Fill it up a bit and look under the drive side front arch area for leaks.

  3. I'll check it out. Cheers mate!

  4. Doesn't seem to be a leak anywhere. Anyone else had this problem?

  5. Is it all the time? I've had something like that when I didn't use the air con for a while but it went away once it's been driven about with it back on for a while, like damp or something maybe because of course aircon sucks the moisture out of the air.

  6. this ^

not exactly a sweet smell in my experience, though ;-)

  7. It comes and goes. Very apparent when the car is first started. Its not a damp smell, had that before on another car, smells like a sweaty dog is sat in your dash! After a bit of research it could be a coolant leak. Need to get it checked
