175 DCI Suspension help needed! Looking for DCi cup spec shocks

    Hi all,

    Having decided to upgrade the suspension on my 175 im having difficulty in defining exactly what i need!

    My question is, would a dci 175 have different cup spec shocks from a 225 cup / R26? I currently have oem Lux suspension.

    If anyone has a definitive answer and / or part numbers it would be very much appreciated :smile:

    Hello Matt,

    I'm looking to sell my setup which is 6k miles old Cup dCi shocks (brought new from Ads, the diesel ones are stiffer than the R26) , H&R springs all around (brought new in the same time) and also top mounts (new 6k ago).

    If interested, you can see my car or get a drive in if you are around Warwickshire.

    This also answers your questions.

    You want Cup dampers which are circa £50 each from Renault and ideally eibach proline springs for the diesels:

    The shocks are 74,60£ when Ads was working. You don't really get them at 50 new.

    Well maybe you didn't but I did from Renault Parts Direct the same time as the Eibachs. Speak to Paul or Nigel.
