So my driver floor pocket is filled with water. What can I use to poke down the drain holes under the scuttle panel at the bottom of the windscreen to unblock it?

    Something long, bendy but stiff......giggidy.

Jesus. So I had some flex tubing that I used. Managed to clear it so that all the water that was sat at the top of the hole has drained, but it's so tight with the wiper motor ( I think) being there that I have no idea if it's cleared or not :/

  4. i poured some neat apc down the drain holes and do so after every wash now, seems to keep them clear

  5. Okay.

I tried some wire (1.25mm if you must know - high carbon steel).

    Didn't work.

    Anybody else??

  6. I know people that have had success using power cable, twin core. Flexible enough and yet study enough to shift the crud.

  7. Mr muscle sink and plug unblocker. Lol.

  8. welding wire

  9. I used 8mm air pipe off my fish tank then found the exit point and with a little play at both ends I unblocked it. Then ran some sink and drain unblocker through to pick the bits up that mite of stuck to the sides. Jobs a guddin.

  10. Pressure washer might shift it enough to clear it and then check it at least once a week and clear leaves etc to stop it getting blocked.

  11. I used a wire coat hanger worked a treat.... Actually also use a wire coat hanger to make a head unit removal tool.... Very handy.

Wire coat hangers are rare in my house. Landlord filled the whole house with Ikea stuff so all hangers are plastic :worried:
