    Hi,

My 26.R has had the front door speakers uprated, and with my last 2 cars having BOSE I am missing a little bit of bass.

Has anyone put a sub in there car?

I am thinking of something small 8", and maybe an active sub? (Sub and amp built together). I have looked into the under seat option, but there is not much space under the buckets seats and also would not want to mark the CF.

    Any advise would be great.

  2. Hi Dan. I have added a Kenwood underseat sub, together with a kenwood double din unit, rear pioneers etc.Its hardly what I call HIFI,but it does the job.It also has the added bonus of remote control,to add bass to a track if needed,as I find that bass will vary from track to track. This sub easily fits under the seat of my R26R. Hope this helps.

  3. 8" isn't really a subwoofer, more like a large woofer (like the door speakers). So it would be super punchy and not really reach the lower end of bass.
There is loads of room under the std buckets I thought?
