Strut removal?

    Any one know ifs its possible to remove strut without removing hub? Ie pushing hub down and pulling strut out been told the hubs gota come off :worried:

    What a nightmare haha pretty much everything siezed so heat gun game out and set of new nylons

    Dont fancy that in a hurry again

    But what a difference!!

  6. I have done them without removing the hub. It's not easy & you need 2 people & some spring clamps to get the damper out.
    If I were you I would take the hub off then you can inspect all the components. It's also worth replacing the swivel hub bearings at the same time.

    I thought this was achievable but went the full route which wasnt difficult when we had some better tools

    The swivel hub bearing seemed fine im guessing the top bolt and bottom secure this into a bearing?

    Compo is due soon so fronts are having an overhaul soon anyway :smile:
