I am not sure if others are experiencing this as well, but the stop start functionality in my RS suddenly stopped working. I read online that this could be due to ambient temperature, low battery charge, etc... but the problem seems too common to ignore. Has anyone fixed this issue on their car? Tony

S/S won't work unless all the right levels of temperature, battery level and various other things are met.
It doesn't seem to work all that much in mine. My Golf stopped all the time, it was very responsive. I just assumed the system in my Megane was a bit older and less smart.
Mine from new never really did it, always said unavailable. Had a new battery under warranty relating to something else and it works all time every time!
