Hi guys any info would help I have had the dreaded drivers side cv clicking noise so I replaced the entir shaft with agenuine Renault part and it seems to have cured the loud clicking noise but I still have a faint clicking when I pull away do you boys reckon it's the passenger side as well as the mechanic said that one should be done as well but I've read it's the ABSsystem that can make the same noise any help would be too, cheers Danny.
The drumming/clicking is normal when you pull off its the abs preforming a test on itself as you have said above.
Sorry to hijack thread - My cv joint on my 225 is also clicking on lock, do you have to replace the entire driveshaft on these cars? Also where should i buy the part and how much should i be expecting to pay fitted?
