My R26 gearbox gets sticky when hot going across the box, not up and down. It's going in on Monday to be looked at and I've been told it should be a selector bearing, but could be something worse! Has anyone had this before and know what it is? Would it be covered by my breakdown policy?
It'll be the nylon bush in the top of the selector actuator. Mine used to do it on track as it got warm. Just needs it whipping out and drilling out its an easy fix. There was a guide somewhere on turborenault or something like that

Yeah mine did the same when it got hot. No springiness at all! I was fitting a short shift around the same time so had the actuator out. Put a round file through it, a bit of grease and the jobs a god un!
