Evening all Just a quick question to see if anyone has had a similar issues. On the way home from work my front speakers started to cut out every now and again. This happens on radio, media and phone. Any help is welcome
Turn the fader all the way to the front and see if you can replicate the issue. If so, take it back to the dealer as a warranty claim. I had a left rear speaker replaced under warranty without any trouble at all. I expected the dealer to protest because the problem was very minor. It buzzed ever so slightly at a very specific low frequency. In fact, nobody else could hear it, but they changed it no problem and that cured the fault.
The real problem with the stereo is the fact it's so utterly, utterly awful that it needs to be ripped out!
I have the Akmas (sp) version in the Trophy and had the full Cabasse system in the R26, and whilst I will agree they weren't the best, I honestly didn't think they were too bad for the price point of the car. I'd rather Renault spent the money on the engineering tbh.
