anyone know if the rs 200 steering wheel is a straight fit to an R26? same connectors for airbag etc?
Yes it is Martin. Did the swap on my old r26. Great little mod. The only thing you may need is a female spade connector. That will slide onto the little earth tab on the back of the clio airbag.
even with the cruise buttons? is there a particular year i need or just any rs197/200 wheel, not bothered about condition as it will be going to royals to be refurbed.
It's one of those mods I've forgotten I've done it works so well - I could NEVER use the standard wheel again! The airbags are a pain to find mine if you want to retain cruise.

One on eBay for both @150 but says been modified to fit 172/182 not sure if it will fit. Maybe the cables have been modified
Just added to my list of want mods! I'll stay away from the market for now though. Don't want to end up in a bidding war or driving the values up for us. What years are applicable? I assume the column is the same for my RS175?
Just fitted this to mine and came across this issue. If you just pull on the earth wire (without removing the securing screw) it pulls off to reveal a female terminal there already. Renault just put a bit of metal in it so they could screw it to the wheel. (I know this thread is really old but I came across this when googling “help it doesn’t fit!”)
