How tricky would a steering wheel swap on a MY 2006 Mk2 be? Is it easy doable DIY job and what kind of airbag safety procedures are needed (prior switching airbag off by a renault dealer)? And should there be any kind of pulling tool at hand? Many thanks in advance Marcel
rotate the wheel so its upside down disconnect the battery theres a small hole in the bottom, insert a t30 and push the airbag should just pop off when removing the wheel use a t45 i think, undo it half way and pull the steering towards you and it should come away, if not tap the wheel in either side and then pull again and should come off. then undo the bolt all the way
