    Hi,

    I am after a steering rack for a megane RS (225/R26),
    I believe the part number is:
    New OEM: 8200369086.
    Refurbed: 7711368393

    If anybody has one please PM me with price.

    Hello Tof,

    I'm after a knackered steering rack for some fitment purposes. In case you don't plan on doing anything with your old rack and think of throwing away, can you throw it in my direction?

    Well not that easy, Mine is not knackered, it is just too short, I have fitted full R26 front suspension to my GT thus widening the track by 40mm total (20mm each side) and i want top fit a relevant rack. Mine works for now but i want to change for a proper fit and setup.

    I will keep mine for now in case something goes wrong or I hit a pot hole like i did last summer.

    Just get a poverty spec one and refit your inner tie rods and plastic spacers.
