Is it possible to have have the steering lock off so I can jack the car up and turn the wheels, I can only seem to do it with the engine started, I have a clicking noise when I turn lock to lock and it is hard to tell where it is coming from with the engine running.
Turn the ignition on. Just hold start button down for 10-20s ignition will come on and steering lock will come off
Yeah everything come on, only way I can make the steering lock come off is to star the car, there must be another way.
Another way to force ignition on, is put car in 1st gear foot on the brake. Not the clutch and press the start button. Ignition should come on and steering lock will come off.
