One of my rear lights keeps steaming up, i've tried a few things but they didn't work :/. Is it buy a new one job or is there a fix?
Mine does this too but I don't think it really matters? Doesn't look good granted, but it isn't necessarily broken or giving off duff light that can't be seen by other road users. IMO, I would just ignore it.
Bring it indoors overnight and let it dry out and make sure you reseat and lube all the seals. If it does it again you could try taping a little silica gel pack in the unit - or get a new one! I've never tried it but I've heard drilling a tiny little hole somewhere not seen underneath helps...
One of mine does it. I tried lubing the seal but that didn't help. Gonna try the silica gel I think. Why are these cars so so bad with moisture? I'm amazed they sold any in this country.
Nice one ill try that gel, I've done the hair dryer and greese three times with ok-ish luck. Only reason I worry is that if the water could damage the electrics inside?
