Just picked up my RS250 and I've noticed that the tweeters are Pioneer and the main speakers are yellow (can't make out the manufacturer). Are these the standard OE parts or does it look like the previous owner has upgraded them?
He’s done you a favour there, the standard speakers, and in fact the whole system is awful. From memory when I upgraded my system I remember nearly going for the yellow 4” speakers that are for the front doors, and they’re pioneer (matching your tweeters). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's certainly not terrible. Not great either but I'm coming from a Golf with the Dynaudio and an A3 with the B&W previously, and it's certainly not at that level so I'm guessing it's just speakers and no amp (and certainly no sign of any sub).
