As per title, can anyone tell me the standard speaker size in the 265 and the depth of speaker the door can take without modification? Thanks
So you are saying there is no after market speaker at all that will fit without an adapter? My main concern is I do not want any cutting etc etc because I have heard that has lead to people getting water in places it should not be?
The standard speaker is like speaker merged with a spacer, and is pop riveted straight to the metal work of the door. So the adapter is needed to fit a 13cm speaker, which requires the whole door card to be removed. Think the speaker adapter are about £10 a pair off ebay.
Company from Hayes quoted me for 260-270 GBP for upgrading front speakers. It does include Dynomat and tweeters. Is it OK price?
