Standard or forge recirc dump valve in good working order.

  1. As above, what you got?.

  2. I've got a forge that I want fitting, standard is in good condition. If you help me fit the forge, you can have the standard one free?

  3. I no longer require this, I've just fitted a Forge to mine! lol.

  4. How lol! Taken several attempts and can't get the standard one off. 1st mechanical thing to completely defeat me in years.

  5. What are you struggling with?

  6. As above. Would be nice to know as I think my standard dump valve is leaking and need to change. Don't want to start it if I can't finish it.

I've been told to get the bottom bolt out you need to grind off a bit on a 10mm spanner & it fits?

  7. No no no. It really is much simpler than people make out.

First off remove the intake pipe from the air box and turbo. This really is simple. You need a 7mm socket on a 1/4 inch ratchet. Reach down the back of the turbo to undo the jubilee clip holding the intake pipe on, the other end is easy on the air box. Disconnect any other pipes going to the main pipe.

Once the intake pipe is out the way, you simply need a 10mm ratchet spanner to undo all three bolts holding the recirc on.

I completed this job in about twenty minutes.

  8. ^^ agreed! taking out the intake pipe is the easiest way even tho some people have struggled along without removing it, but for effort its best to take it off
