Has anyone had an issue with a squeaky seat? It sounds like the springs need a bit of lubrication maybe? cheers Jack
Whereabouts are the squeaks coming from Jack and are they recaros? If its the base then have you tried lowering the seat as far as it will go then all the way to the top? That sorted the first squeak on mine. The other squeak came from the right hand airbag area on the recaro. That needed stripping down and some rubber insert placed along the metal edge of the seat which was rubbing. Cost about £45 from a Renault indy specialist.
Its a standard sport seat. Its coming from the base/lower back area, only does it when I'm throwing it into corners, slightly annoying! I'm after some recaros so even more of a reason to upgrade i suppose... like you need a reason to get some recaros!!! Cheers for the reply Corey.
