Right this is only a very brief how too with paint the xenons on meg mk3. The ones I done already had black inserts so I didn't need to remove the plastic from the lenses. I am no mechanic or body shop and I've managed to do this just be patient. If you break anything it's not my fault Tools Heat gun...hair dryer will NOT do Small flat head screw driver T20 torx Assuming you already have the light out (if you don't it's easy it's 2x 10mm bolts and a slider to remove Remove all bulbs Remove tiny metal taps around head light with small flat head (be careful) Start heating the glue from the bottom corner of head light 1st (the pointed top part sits further in the plastic so I left that until last) Slowly and carefully begin to pull apart the lense I didn't need to use a driver other anything just a decent amount of heat and the will pull apart. The glue gets hot pretty fast. Wrap the lense with plastic etc to stop dust Unclip the the plastic indicator cover using flat head again be careful this is brittle as fuck! Once done the gives you better access to the 2x t20 torx to remove the chrome trim that sits the the top corner of the light. The main chrome dome surrounding the projector is held I'd with 4 tabs and literally just pulls out but again take care doing this it's worrying but it does just pull out. These are the only 2 parts I painted but gave them a good sanding to remove the shiny surface and then begun to paint. Once all dried it's a simple case of putting it back together. Reheat the glue so it's tacky and take your time making sure the light is back in place before putting the small tabs back. To add if you wish to paint the surrounds there is a t10 torx in the bottom corner and the rest is held in with plastic tabs and glue so very simple to remove but again be patient.
