225 Speedo and Rev counter lights not working / ESP message and spanner on

Earlier today when starting the car the auto lights came on but the Speedo and rev counter didn't light up. When I got home I removed the console fuse in glove box to see if it had broken and it hadn't. After replacing it the speedo and rev counter lights came back on however so did the spanner and ESP fault message! After turning car off then back on the spanner didn't re appear but fault message stayed...

anyone had this problem or know what it could be? or is it another french hot hatch common fault i shouldn't worry about?

Seems since ownership I have had one problem after another with the meg. Great cars when they work but they dont half eat your money up, its like owning a Cosworth lol

 

This morning auto lights came on as normal and everything is working, no spanner or error message - very weird!
