Soft99 Fusso Coat

  1. Not a big write up or anything, but thought I’d post it up anyway

So I’d been meaning to try Soft 99 Fusso Coat for a while now, but finally got some and did my 250 with it at the weekend.

So washed first, then treated to some CarPro Trix, an iron and tar remover in one. My car is pretty clean so nothing came off really, look forward to trying this again on something a little more contaminated to see how well it performs. I also gave it a quick clay as well, to make sure previous LSP was removed as much as anything else.

Fusso comes in a nice container/tin, reminds me of the old fashioned paste waxes that my dad used to have when I was kid.

Just don’t ask me to translate anything

I didn’t like the look or feel of the sponge applicator that comes with it so used a microfibre applicator instead. Very easy to apply, just like any other wax, nice thin even coat, then left to cure for approx 15 minutes before buffing off. Seemed to buff off easily enough, I then left it for an hour or so before adding a second coat.

I must admit it left the paintwork looking very good

It brought out the metallic flake well in the paintwork, difficult to photograph but looked good

I dropped my daughter to school yesterday morning and it was raining heavily, when I got back home I rinsed it over with an open ended hose before putting it back in the garage and the dirt just slid off leaving it gleaming again.

Overall very impressed, a great wax to use in the winter months and great value at £20 too.

  2. Fusso is a product I've always fancied trying. Looks good

  3. It's great stuff. I've got a couple of coats of it in my Trophy at the moment.

  4. Couple of my mates have said this stuff is I right pain to buff off, that's the only reason I've not tried it.

  5. Yeah its a pain in the arse if you leave it for slightly too long, Really hard work to get off but from what i've read its more of an issue if you use too much like I do.

  6. I read that it was difficult to buff off, but I honestly didn't find it a problem at all for either coat, I was however careful to make sure i didn't over apply.

  7. I find it can be awkward to buff off. It seems to want to cake on.

  8. I found applying it really really lightly helped a lot.

  9. That's also what I'd read. Will give it a miss I think, car looks good though op
