Hi, as a Clio owner (Megane converted) i'm just lurking here from time to time, but as this problem concerns mostly Megane 225Ph2/230 owners, I wanted to share this info here. As you know, when converting from DMF to SMF, you get the EML light on and "flywheel in bad condition" error. The light and error can be mapped out, but that just masks the problem, the flywheel target stays "unlearned", leaving you with cylinder recognition and misfire detection disabled. Recently i have found a way to properly map single mass flywheel, taking into account its different rotational mass. What you get is happy ECU, now able to go through the target programming procedure, thus enabling missing features back and no more jerky off-on gas transitions when daily driving in traffic. Would anyone be interested in such a remap?
