Sensor on clutch peddle

  1. Hey everyone just had my new clutch slave and dmf fitted yday when bleeding the clutch we notice the sensor on the clutch peddle had separated the wires from the sensor
    Can a body confirm the purpose for the sensor I'm lead to believe it's an anti judder value can this please be confirmed
     
  2. think it might be for cruise control, maybe wrong though!
     
  3. There is a cruise control sensor down there - if you dip the clutch and it will turn off the cruise control.

    now new clutch is in and dmf on every time i slightly set off it wheel spins
    I'll try re connecting it thanks matey
     
  5. That won't be down to that sensor not being connected. That's just to de activate the cruise control when you press the clutch.
     

  6. hi I think I no what it is - when starting car I use brake to peddle then press start button

    if I try with clutch it won't start up think it's that for starting with clutch peddle
