Selling my car, advice?

  1. I'm trying to sell my car, and put it on autotrader for £45! It's supposedly had 200 views but I've had no interest apart from a load of we buy your car for cash websites texting and calling me! Anyone got any other decent websites that they've advertised on that won't charge an arm and a leg?

  2. Pistonheads, gumtree, ebay?

  3. Try gumtree. I sold my L2 51 reg in just 8 minutes. It was in 2010.
You may also go for p/x to avoid all that hassle. I did it twice, and I was happy with it.

  4. Well I had my car valued at 3800 by a citroen garage, so I put it up for 3200 and I've had nothing! I'll try gumtree

  5. Ive used autotrader with my old car i wanted rid and put it up as one of the cheapest in the country its a rip off no interest in 4 weeks then tried and sold on ebay within four or five days

  6. Some people (me included) put in minimum prices to filter out overly cheap results - as 99% of these are monthly payment prices, not the price of the car.
Maybe genuine buyers are filtering you out based on price being too cheap.

  7. Mine was up for £2000 not exactly the bargain cars section

  8. That's fair enough. When I was looking at 225s I set a minimum of £3000 to filter out any monthly payment ones, any Cat-C and any ridiculous ones.
