I have found a few people locally that are part of a biking group on FB who say they are really great and very quick to put on and take off. Price wise I don't think it is any dearer than the likes of a bike rack when you consider you have to buy the roof rails, cross bars and then the actual part the bike sits in. I have been told somewhere local has a demo one that you can try out so I am going to investigate.
