Recently Bought a megane 225 lux and Have just noticed a scraping noise when going around corners, seems to be coming from the front left. I also have a fair bit of brake squeal when coming to a stop so could it be brake related? Plan on getting the car jacked up and taking a look at everything this weekend so wondering what to check over
could be rubbing on the wheel arch if its missing a clip, as for the brakes could do with stripping down giving them a clean and greasing the back of the pads. the pins can sometimes be tricky to knock out the calipers so be warned! if you haven't get a set of punches from screwfix, makes it easier knocking them out
Forgot to mention but the sound is a metallic sort of sound, will try and get a video of it ahen i pop out later. For the brakes thinking of buying some New discs so will grease up the pads when i change them over. Will also get a set of punches if itll make my life alot easier cheers
