  1. Really hope he recovers. Proper legend, always been an insipration for me.

Il never forget the day I met him, randomly in DeLand, Florida, we were both doing a skydive together. Such a nice man and has so much time for his fans. He will fight through this!

  2. That's cool, would have like to meet him myself. Weird thing is he apparently walked away from his accident but had to have a emergency neuro operation when he arrived in the hospital. Sounds like serious internal bleeding issues maybe.

  3. Yeah they said he was badly shaken, then the next update was critical condition. Sounds grim tbh. Hope he pulls through, so young!

  4. he was concious e.tc after and fine and they were sending him for scans when he became agitated (sign of brain trauma) so I would hazard a guess they have induced a coma to reduce the swelling

    fingers crossed for him

if it's the off-piste section people are claiming, i've skied it many a time, I used to teach in Meribel. The most probable place he crashed was a steep gully with rocks to both sides.

    All the best Schumi!

  5. BBC now saying he is fighting for his life, sadly.

"We had to operate urgently to release some pressure in his head," Professor Payen said.
"Unfortunately, he has some lesions within his brain."

I never been his biggest fan but really hope he pulls through this. Get well soon fella.

poor bloke, hope he manages to get through this one.

  7. They said Michael will need long rehabilitation, and probably he will never be fully recovered. But he is lucky that he is still alive. I hope he will get better soon.
