Just got my 230 f1 back from the 12k service having only had it 2 weeks, turns out the radiator leaks, it needs a new o/s driveshaft and new cv joints, and then pads and disks all round! Bye bye all of my money! Just thought I'd share my sadness with the forum!
The radiators leaking and cv boots are common problems I'm afraid, you can get a CV repair kit i think? The radiators seem to leak where the plastic end tanks are attached to the metal core. Discs and pads are consumables also, how come it needs a new shaft? I've got an OEM non leaking radiator, only changed it as i got a full alloy one at a bargain price and couldnt say no! Yeah it likes to alternate sides which is nice! It goes down just below the minimum line and doesn't leak any more! The driveshaft has play in it so he out that at the top of my list of things to do, the radiator was at the bottom after the brakes I'm afraid so it'll be a few months until I get that changed. Disks and pads were on the things to do list as it was so that was no surprise! It's just a bit of a bummer but when it's all done she'll be all sound and I can start doing the cosmetics, such as the badly kerbed wheels and scuffs on the bumpers!

Dw about that. I changed two tires, front discs and pads then my clutch decided to slip £1800 later in a week of owning the car
I got it privately, it had had 4 owners so it had had things done here and there but probably been sold when things started to go wrong! And that really sucks ek! And what doesn't make sense?
On the plus side I'd reccomend 519 automotive near Bedford, he knows what he's doing when it comes to renault sport cars and he charges very fairly for what he does!
