Hi. I'm the proud new owner of a 2021 RS300 Trophy. I'm wanting to set it up for track days and just wondering if anyone is running 245/40/19's with out rubbing? Cheers
Hi Gary, welcome, if you do not get any replies, try the Facebook group. I think that tyre size should be fine though.
That does sound quite big - but when I say big, I mean tall. You'd probably need less sidewall if you were sticking with 19's, but I'm not 100% certain on that. My friend runs 245/40/18 on his Trophy. I'd say this is about as tall as you'd want to go with a tyre, but there's definitely some room for a bit of extra width, maybe 255/40.
On a mk3 it's 235 35 19, not sure what the standard size is for a mk4, but if your going to track your car then a lower profile would be better. Try 245 35 19, or even 245 30 19
