Rs275 pads and discs?

  1. Hi all,

I know this has been answered quite a few times but what discs and pads would everyone recommend.

Looking for a new set, I used to run dixcel z pads and discs on my old hondas and looking for something similar, with plenty of bite.

Mainly track but also my daily

    How do winmax w5 fair?

I've always heard bremho discs are cack

  2. OEM brembo discs are great, a lot of owners with track only cars stick to them. Just make sure you get the plain ones and not the grooved ones, as the grooved ones have a habit of accelerating pad wear.

I'm running stock discs and calipers with Endless N35S pads and different fluid. I think they are up to the task, any upgrade will cost you more than it brings in my opinion.

By the way, does anyone know the part number for the plain disc? I can only find the grooved ones on the Brembo website.

  4. Brembo number is

    09.A752.11

I bought mine on autodoc for £120 the pair

  5. Where from?

  6. Autodoc just search in apps as it’s cheaper through the app than online

  7. yer those Brembo disc are v good, not sure about Winmax 6.5 that's quite aggressive, Winmax 5 good option for road/track but you might like the 6.5, let us know how get on

  8. Those plain discs are on my mind, but have a doubt about the part number. Those are 09.A752.11, but there is another part number, 09.A752.10, that fit perfectly too. Comparing both, are exactly the same so, what the difference between they?? I think, maybe they have turning direction. In specs, it says they have internal cooling, so they must have turning direction and we would fit one part number for each side. Sorry if I´m not understable! My english have limits:fearful::fearful:
Anyway, thats my teory, because I can´t find the difference between both part numbers.

Even if you look at brembo drawing they both say .11 and identical specs think when I looked all .10 out off stock anyway

  11. .11 has an anti-rust coating, .10 does not.

Also .11 is cheaper but i'm not sure why!

  12. Oh! That´s the difference!:grin: I didn´t see that information. Well, in that case .11 is the way. Doubt clear! Thanks.

  14. Are the 250 brake discs the same 275 trophy?

Auto doc is saying that don't fit?

  15. Yes they are the same. A lot of these sites seem to get confused if you say you've got a 275. Put a 250 in and no issue.

Btw don't buy from autodoc at that price. Not long ago they were going for just over £50, and autodoc prices change daily.

  16. I was thinking that is the case!

So hold out until they are around £50?

  17. Yeah definitely. Also if you use their app the prices are sometimes even more discounted. Worth keeping an eye on for sure

  18. I'll keep an eye out.

My other question is are the oem brembo discs up to the task with winmax 5 pads?

I always remember on the old hondas more aggressive aftermarket pads would just rip through the brembo discs? And have a LOT of brake judder! Is this the case if I was to run winmax 5 with oem brembo discs?

I don't think you can beat HC Brembo disc's for the money, i run the DS uno's they work very very well and haven't killed the disc's.
