New to the site.. names james have had my rs265 for a couple of months now, absolutely love it but I do have a question.. My rs265 if left in 1 gear to long.. when I then go to give it some in that gear * mainly third gear * it barely boosts at all? Doesn't feel quick like it should but if I take it out of that gear and put it back in and give it some it boosts fine? Very confused and if someone could help it'd be appreciated as have had it on the code reader and no problems are popping up, Thanks.
Cars done just over 40,000 and yes it is still under warranty but the garage I got it from are useless.. told them many times and had it in 4 times since owning the car and they reckon it's fine.. so frustrating.
What about the manufactures warranty, or is that what you were referring to? Possibly injectors failing maybe?
Yeah mate renault warranty until September and maybe but wouldn't that have come up on the machine it was plugged into?
Take it to a different dealer then, or call RenUK customer services. The injectors failing will eventually throw up an error yes, but it is possible that they aren't yet bad enough to trigger.
Ah didn't realise I could do that.. sweet ill take it to a differsnt one tomorrow and see if I can get some answer, thankyou.
