How accurate is the oil level system on a RS250? When I do the check before starting the engine all of the blocks are not filled in, since a recent service my thoughts are that the engine is still full, am I correct?
Never trust anything but the dipstick mate is my moto! Had mine serviced in March and checked afterwards when cold and it was only 3/4 full so topped it up, wouldn't bother trusting the electronic readout!
As above don't trust the display too much.... Though having said that it was always pretty accurate on my 200 even though it only used oil enough once the be noticeable it seemed a pretty good representation of how much oil there was.
