Have this intermittent problem on my RS265 whereby the RS Monitor doesn't always start. On the home page the gears won't indicate (shoes as 'N') and no data getting through to any views. It feels like a sensor to activate the whole RS Monitor is not working or it may be a lose connection. Car is 2014 model. Anyone experienced this? Sent from my HTC 2PS6200 using Tapatalk
No but I am sure your dealer could diagnose the issue - maybe they could do a simple reboot for you there and then that might fix it. Sorry to hear that either way - I hate it when my stuff doesn't work, even if I don't use it.
I've had the gears not reporting (Just N all the time) occasionally. It's done this from new. It's a bit slow and dim-witted anyway to be honest when it works. You can easily change gear faster than it can respond. Usual IT fix - turn it off and on again....
Yeah might go to the dealer. Not too much of an issue but I do use it to display the oil temp. I'm a bit old school and don't put the engine under load until the oil has reached a good temp And @Xanda73 switching off/ on doesn't usually fix it "if it has its day" Sent from my HTC 2PS6200 using Tapatalk
Yes that's true. If turning it off and on again doesn't fix it, then turning it off and on again won't fix it, no.
