RS 250 Strange noise when turning?

Hi guys,
Had my car just over two weeks and was all going well until today.

When I turn the wheels when the vehicle is stationary it make a strange type of squealing noise not sure what the hell it is but it is loud outside the car.
I seem to remember a similar noise when i had a megane 1.9 dci just before the right hand side front spring snapped.
Surly it cant be that on a 40k car!

Any ideas or experienced something similar??

Carlisle is the closest, about 30 miles away i will let you know if they are good or not.

 

Ball joint was hanging out! totally fucked getting replaced under warranty thank god.
