Anybody using or used these in the past? seen a few videos on youtube looking east enough to fit? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4W_EUV6rrUo&spfreload=10 Only thing i would hate would for there to be an obvious or even slight gap where they join? Any advice would be great! Cheers Josh (250)
Not very reliable or safe from what ive read, tyres losing pressure, and coming off whist driving fucking the wing/arch up.
What would cause them to make the tyre lose pressure, and yeah didn't even think about them coming off and hitting the wings lol
its not just about driving properly, i thought the thin red ones had a certain 'go faster' look to them? no? oh well
It is though, Avoid kerbs and the like and you won't need something like that. If you really want some sort of protection get some tyres with decent rim protection, IIRC Eagle Assymetrics have a good protector not hem and they are a great tyre
Tyred have to be let down to get the blade to sit between the rim and the tyre and reinflate. They ust dont fit them to an already inflated tyre/wheel
If it was only on the face of the rim, whats stoppin it flinging of when rotating? The seal between the tyre and rim is suppose to keep it in place, but they still come off
I didnt, but just looking at it, its not the sort i was thinking. So these one wont cause those issues, but cant them lasting that long thou none the less.
Read my last comment, i didnt watch the video, these are actually worse than the ones i was on about. These ones are just sticky back, the ones i thought they were actually gripped in between the tyre and the rim aswel a sticky back. Either way they wont last long and grop off.
