replacing front speakers

  1. passenger speaker has gone, how easy are they to replace as im guessing its door card off? also what is the size?

    They need to be shallow fit because of the spacing. Can't cut the area behind the speaker either, otherwise water will drip onto the speaker. Not a good design from Renault.

    It's not door card off, pull the covers off carefully. Speaker size is 13cm, pioneer do a direct fit replacement.

  5. My passenger speaker has also gone. Is this a common problem?

    I fitted the direct replacement Pioneers, much better than standard. IMO the head unit needs to be changed too to take advantage of the new speakers, didn't notice any difference with the standard head unit.
