Replacing drivers headlight bulb - projectors

  1. Hi Guys,

My girlfriend has a Dynamique which has the facelift headlights. The drivers side headlight bulb has blown, I've attempted to replace the bulb but I'm not sure how the bulb is held into the headlight?

I've done some searches and it seems the pre-facelift headlights are held in by a spring.

    Thanks

  2. Very weird holder springs and 3 small spring loaded clips in base of headlamp. Very hard to pull out would not go back on one side real fight.
Best done with headlamp released and nearly out. Protect paint with big cloth. Easy done in the end but too much force needed. I did all 4 upgraded with Osrams.

  3. Ahh okay, I'll just remove the bumped this weekend as it'll be hell of a lot easier I'd imagine!

    Thanks

  4. Good news on the facelift the lights pop right out after usual removal of the bolts and rear clip
    Ready job no bumper removal.
    Cheers Andy

  5. I ended up removing the front bumper as I couldn't get the bulb out. Didn't take that long once I realised there were some hidden clips under the front grill.

  6. It was on a Fifth Gear, AA guy was changing bulb through wheel arch.
