So I read and old thread regarding spraying the area between the windscreen and dash and was so happy to find a solution and purchased a can of PTFE spray, got to work without double checking and it turned out to be white grease and now looks a mess! This with drive me mad! So will it all eventually dissolve as I've already tried cleaning it or can I just get the seal replaced? I really hope someone has some good news for me. Thanks guys
My seal looks a bit battered and I'm not sure if it is responsible for the little black beads I get on my dash top with the blowers but I was think about sticking a 1cm wide or so strip of 1.5mm thick high density self-adhesive black foam strip over the top of the original. Would only take a few mins. Think I'll try it on mine.
