  1. RenaultSport specialists Rentec Autocare in Edinburgh had an open day in conjunction with renaultsportclub.co.uk today:

Cracking turn out of all things Renaultsport - including 3 Clio V6's

Some brilliant track prepped 182s as well that I didn't get pics of sadly:

Here's a few pics of the day..

  2. Some lovely cars on show there papps, gutted I couldn't make it out :worried:

  3. Nice pics! Was a brilliant event, thanks to everyone at Rentec for putting it on. It's the best car meet I have been to with a great variety of cars, top food and nice people to chat with.

Also nice to scoop the free oil and filter change in the raffle! Thanks for that!!

  4. Yeah, plenty of nice motors inside as well: really nice AG Clio 200, and Rockerton's White 250 Cup in concourse condition as well; loads of nice 182s

Hopefully they'll put on more events like this in the future, was really well organised

  5. I was 1 number off this gratis minor service.......:worried:

172 Cup was looking good Kosy, preferred that 182 with plastic front windows and Sabelt 5 Point harnesses tho

  6. Did barry mention anything about rentec looking into doing remapping, I briefly spoke to him about it when I was over for some work, he says it may be something that they might get into

there was a generous rb182 in the workshop when I was there, shame it had part of the engine striped down :worried:

  7. Haha yeah the one with the white alloys? - it was in the other week when I was there as well.

Yeah it showed up about 2.30pm, I heard the dump valve as it was coming round the corner.... its not a 225 lump, but a turbo'd clio, pretty stripped out as well, cage, harnesses......the owner was tempting someone there with it as well......potential new track toy for someone maybe.

Yeah Barrie and Brian both mentioned it briefly, it sounded like flash maps that were customised by a big vendor, would need to know a lot more before I would even consider it tbh, I mentioned HENK to them and the service he does already
