  1. Renault Megane 275 Nav 2016 – Flame Red

Here for sale is my much-loved RS Megane 275 Nav in the amazing Flame Red. I bought the car in December 2019 and have enjoyed every minute of owning the car. Coming from owning a Clio R27 for 6+ years before this, I can confirm this is such a huge step up and an amazing driver’s car, still retaining the fantastic Renault Sport DNA, they are slowly but surely not making them like this anymore!

The car currently sits on 33,400 Miles but will rise slightly as the car is used daily for my short commute to work.

This particular example benefits from having almost all factory optional extras selected, including:

    · Recaro Seats with Carbon Grey Leather Upholstery - They are in fantastic condition with very minimal, if any, marks.
    · Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust
    · Cup Pack with Limited Slip Differential
    · Flame Red Metallic Paintwork
    · Rs Monitor
    · Dual Zone Climate Control
    · Panoramic Glass Roof
    · Reversing camera with parking sensors
    · RS Metal Gearknob (Have original if preferred)
    · 18” Tibor Alloys - Michelin PS4 Tyres with plenty of tread all round, New TPMS Valves & MK4 RS Centre Caps fitted at the same time as the tyres. Alloys are in excellent condition.

Being the Nav model the car comes with an amazing specification from standard with features such as:

    · Automatic lights and wipers
    · R-LINK Multimedia System
    · Carminat TomTom with additional European mapping
    · Keyless entry and start
    · LED Daytime running lights
    · Arkamys 3D Sound System with DAB

The car also benefits from the following minor modifications:

    - Bilstein B14 Coilovers (Original Cup suspension can be included covering only around 30,000 miles and are in excellent condition)
    - K&N Panel Filter
    - Rs Tuning Remap, running only on the sport button with printout to 287.1 bhp.
    - Mr Pinks Caliper Pins – These were fitted when I stripped, cleaned and lubricated the calipers in December 2020.

The car has Full-Service History and has been serviced every year (over and above the recommended 2-year service schedule)

5 Stamps with Services carried out as follows:

18/05/2017 – Renault Birmingham - Engine Oil & Filter Change (receipt missing but fully stamped, dated and mileage recorded from Renault, I assume this was a pre-sale service hence no customer receipt)

19/03/2018 – Renault Lookers Stockport - Engine Oil & Filter Change, Cabin Filter

27/03/2019 – Renault Lookers Stockport - Engine Oil & Filter Change

14/03/2020 – DDC Doncaster – (Renault Sport Specialist) - Engine Oil (Elf Evolution 900 SXR 5W40) & Oem Oil Filter Change, Gearbox Oil Change (ELF NFP), NGK IFR7X8G Spark Plugs, Cabin Filter, Coolant Change (Renault Type D), Brake Fluid Change (Motul RBF660)

01/03/2021 RickyP RPM - (Renault Sport Specialist) -

    · Timing Belt Kit, Auxiliary Belt Kit, Water Pump, Dephaser, Cam Seal Kit, Crank Pulley Bolt, Cylinder Head Core Plugs, Renault Type D Coolant, Elf Evolution 900 SXR 5W40 Engine Oil & OEM Oil Filter Change. (All genuine OEM parts)

    · At the same time I had the gearbox refurbished including - Gearbox Removed, Stripped, New Uprated Bearings and Seals with Fresh Elf NFP oil, then put back on the car – Some of the later models of the Megane 3RS suffer from a gearbox whine which is caused by a failure in the gearbox bearings, the car had generated a slight whine at speeds above 40mph so I had this completed for peace of mind.

. MOT Completed at the same time - No advisories and Valid until 30th March 2022

Parts receipts and invoice all present - Well over £1400 just spent.

A couple of very minor things to mention as I like to be as honest as possible:

    · One of the tyres has a small nick on the rim protector, I have had this checked at more than one tyre place who have said there is no issues with it at all and it will be fine for the life of the tyre.

    · A small amount of paint has flaked off the rear calipers – However, they are in perfect working condition with recent strip, clean and lubrication during service work just carried out on 01/03/21

The car drives excellent as you would expect from a low mileage, well maintained example with no unwanted noises, as with all my cars this has had no expense spared.

The car has always been cleaned by myself using the 2 bucket method to ensure full protection of the paintwork. There are a few very minor stone chips as to be expected with a used car but the paintwork is in excellent condition.

I will be really sad to see the car go and if I’m being honest, I really don’t want to sell however due to a change in circumstances the car has to unfortunately go up for sale.

This is the best factory spec’d example which has been meticulously maintained available on the market in my opinion, having had over £1400 spent on it in the last few days prior to sale.

£15,450 Serious Offers Considered – Please no time wasters and any ridiculous offers will simply be ignored. I am more than happy to keep the car and am in no rush to sell whatsoever, I would love for the car to go to a likeminded enthusiast who will continue to enjoy the car as much as I have.

  2. That's got to be a super rare spec with the sunroof and all the other options. Stunning car that. Someone is going to be a very lucky new owner!

  3. Thanks mate!

It definitely is, there’s a few out there at the minute but none with this spec and comprehensive maintenance history.

Will definitely be said to see it go!

  4. Cracking looking car there. Great spec with some nice touches on maintenance (gearbox) and mods (b14s) without going ott.

Map did not make much power? Assuming that the mid range torque really improved?

  5. Stock intercooler really holds them back.

  6. Thanks mate!

Yeah, I’m not really a modification person but the Bilstein’s came up at a good price and I’ve still got the original Cup Suspension if the next owners prefers.

As above, with the intercooler stock, standard cat in place and just a panel filter, I never expected big power, nor was I looking for it.

The torque has increased nicely in the mid-range and a slight increase in bhp which is all I was looking for really. The new ecu’s on the 275’s weren’t the best stock map apparently so it’s a nice improvement in sport mode, especially as normal mode is still stock 250bhp map.
