Renaultsport Megane 225 - Black/Gold 2005 - 55 plate ~93100 miles (will rise as it's my daily driver) Cup alloys (recent Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tyres all round) 2 keycards MOT passed with no advisories in Dec 2016 This is a very well looked after car and has had all essential maintenance done when required. I've done the majority of servicing myself with genuine Renault parts (I have stacks of receipts for parts and service kits). I've owned the car for over 4 years and covered over 40000 miles in it. I've enjoyed every minute! I'm sadly selling up as I fancy something new. I'd love to see this car go to a genuine car enthusiast like myself. Standard spec/features Panoramic roof Half leather + half cloth interior Perforated leather door cards Piano black dial surrounds/gearstick surround/handbrake lever Climate control Keyless entry Auto lights Auto wipers Electric folding mirrors Cruise control Speed limiter Modifications/upgrades K-TEC Racing Induction kit. K-TEC Racing 70mm exhaust system (sounds lovely, pops/rumbles). Larger front mounted intercooler R26.R spoiler Cup shocks front and rear with Cooksport lowering springs. Track rod ends were also replaced at the same time as fitting the shocks. Wheel alignment was done last year also - handles brilliantly! 20mm spacers + extended bolts on rear. Car was possibly remapped by previous owner - ran 253bhp on a dyno before the above mods were added. I estimate it's currently around the 260bhp mark (no proof of this however). Regardless of this the car feels very quick and pulls hard in all gears. The car is always run on V-Power or Tesco Momentum fuel and warmed up thoroughly before being driven hard. Other upgrades Alpine headunit (old style iPod cable routed into glovebox). Pioneer speaker/tweeter upgrade kit. Renaultsport mats (drivers mat is a bit worn). Philips X-treme vision bulbs (H7). Philips silvervision indictor bulbs (front). Cheap chrome bulbs in the rear. Good points All essential servicing has been taken care of during my ownership including; Cam + aux belt + water pump replaced at Diamond Motors (Renault specialist) in August 2015 (air-con was also regassed during this service). Receipts for proof. Both front hub bearings replaced Jan 2016 at Gary Burnett Vehicle Services (Renault specialist). Engine mounts replaced (main engine mount + stabilser mount). Powerflex bushes added to original lower engine mount. Engine oil + filter changed roughly every 6000 miles. Last change done less than 2000 miles ago with Elf 5w-40 oil + genuine filter. Spark plugs recently replaced with genuine Renault plugs (NGK). Gearbox oil recently replaced with Elf 75w-80. Coolant flushed and replaced late last year. Body work is in excellent condition for the year, however being 12 years old it does have some marks/tiny dents. Bad points Alloys could do with refurbishing, one alloy in particular being quite scuffed. Small chip/crack in the windscreen (been there since I bought the car and has never increased in size). Very small dents in driver side door, only noticeable at the right angles. I've covered the main points but probably missed a few things so feel free to message or call to ask any questions. Considering the car's modifications and extensive service history I'm wanting £2650 OVNO. This is a genuinely good car and I'll be sad to see it go but I'm after something new. Based in the Liverpool area.
