It's a lot better. took one out. Mrs looking to replace her car soon. Just seeing if anyone else has any experience of one. It handled very well. Not powerful but a nippy 1.6 out of twingo 133 Due to clever roof the boot is massive, bigger than my 265 I think!
I quite liked them when they were about - not that I ever saw many, but as an interesting alternative, they are quite cool. As above, it's a ladies car really.
Hate mini's passionately, the mini gp is the only one I'd want to go near I must admit I refuse to drive the mrs streetka with roof down but the wind is a lot more bulky, and although still a bit girly I would drive this with roof down! Mine I've owned 5 types of smart and some say they are out and out girls cars!
The Wind is a very rare car so that is a positive. Not many people will have a fixed view on it as they wont know what it is.
One of my gf neighbours has a wind. It's totally unloved, seems a waste of a decent car. Wouldn't be caught dead driving it mind you [emoji23] and I agree they are pretty rare.
Well we now have a wind in the household, white on black wheels and roof and girls car or not (it is the mrs btw!) it's great. The ride and turn in feel like an old cliosport It's really great to drive although not very powerful. Roof is very clever. And the bucket seats are better than my 265's! Only thing that's truly awful are the dooor cards that look like they are made from melted bin bags!
Don't forget the Golf which is named after the German word for the Gulf Stream. Therefore the Golf, Passat and Scirocco have a naming theme. Edit: Same for the Bora now that I think of it. Edit again: http://karakullake.blogspot.co.uk/2010/04/cars-named-after-winds.html?m=1
