  1. Sorry this is my first post on here but have been a long time user of other Renault forums, Have been meaning to start a project thread for a while but the thought of selling has been playing on my mind since Christmas so decided to see if theres any interest for it. Copy and pasted from else where.

    Renault Sport Megane 175 DCi

2007 registered with under 86k miles on the clock, this is the Lux model which has the 18 inch alloy wheels, climate control, full leather interior, heated front seats and panoramic sunroof.
I bought this car a year ago and ever since have been doing my normal thing with my cars by making it near to perfect as I can get it, which included a weekend long detail by machine polishing it followed by applying GTechniq C1 and Exo which is a nano based product that is scratch resistant and the Exo layer provides a superhydrophobic layer which causes any water or dirt particles to bead off (these have been known to last over 2 years before the need of another application). Also every black plastic trim has been treated by C1 and has been removed to clean underneath to.
I have changed some parts to keep the Megan looking fresh, the front splitter and headlight washers and I've fitted front mudflaps to reduce any stone flicking up and causing trouble. I have also had the rear brake pads and discs replaced (not before I applied C1 to them too) which is probably the most expensive discs I've ever bought.
There are a few bad points that I need to tell you, the wheels could do with a refurb there are a few marks on the wheels, I think the wheel nuts let the look of the car down and there is the odd mark on the paint that I couldn't get out (stone chips mainly) Yes these are the only bad points but I still think this is the best you'll find on the mark currently. The engine drives smoothly in all gears and pulls really well as you'd expect and it still returns 40mpg with mixed driving.
The reason I'm selling it is due to not using it as much now, I've only done 1500 miles in it in the last 4 months and I could do with the space back, there is finance on it but this will be cleared before or at the sale, if it's not sold by the end of the month it will probably be sorned so bare that in mind when expecting to test drive.

The price I'm advertising it for is £5000 but I am open to sensible offers.

Photos to follow after I've figured how to upload them.

Any question feel free to ask, especially if I've forgotten something.

    Thanks Mackerfly

  3. MOTed til 30th April 2017, tyres have 5-7mm of tread left on them, I've changed the gearbox oil with Elf 75W80 and the brake fluid to Motul RBF600. All interior bulbs have been replaced with LED ones along with the number plate and front side light bulbs and I've fitted 8000k HID kit which compliments the side light bulbs and finishes off the front end.

  4. Now HPI clear, finance has been fully paid off and forgot to mention that I had a brand new genuine Renault battery fitted last summer and it has full service history at Renault apart from the last service which the garage I bought it off did it.

    Price reduced to £4000
