How's it done? Someone said it just pulls up but mine is really stiff and tried tapping with a rubber mallet but no luck :-/
As above, slide it down towards the front of the car, might help if you keep constant pressure on it when tapping with the mallet......
Good photo that, can anyone confirm if the auto dim rear view mirror is easily retro-fitted onto a car without? Is it powered via that plug which appears to be wrapped in cloth to prevent rattles?
Exactly right mate, just changed mine a couple of days ago, hardest bit is getting the mirror on/ off

No picked mine up off ebay, cant remember how much for as i bought it a while ago but no more than £15 i think
