275 Removing front spoiler for track days - brake cooling

  1. Hello,

RS Monitor has a message telling me the front spoilers are optimized for fuel efficiency but you can remove part of them for better cooling on track days.

Any idea how to do that?

    aaa

I'm curious too how this is possible. I suppose also those mud guards inside the fender should go off?

  3. I checked the manual: it's the manual for the regular Megane. There is a tiny supplement though that speaks about the (wonderfully placed) RS button and the 3 driving modes.

However, it says nothing about removing the front spoilers for track days.

  4. I think you only need a hole in them, taking them off completely would probably... get everything full of dirt.

  5. The spoilers are there for drag, they divert air away from the spinning tyre. I have removed mine for track. They are held on by rivets .
