225 Removing Cam Cover

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by Trophyboy, Jun 17, 2016.

  1. Hi all

I want to remove the cam cover and inlet etc on my 225 to be sent away for blasting & coating.

I've got all the inlet manifold off etc but what's best way to remove cam cover? Looks like it's locked in via engine mount. Would I have to remove this too?

    Cheers

  2. You need to take the timing belt off to get the cam cover off.
    Not an easy job!
