Hi, just wondering how much extra bhp my 250 megane would get remapped standard compared to having a cat back stainless system and a panel air filter then remapped. cheers
Is that on a standard car or with filter and exhaust included. Just thinking of a remap on my standard rs as i dont want to have to extra insurance that comes from a exhaust system. Plus its easier not to disclose a remap mod over the obvious exhaust mod.
Would be around 300 with just a remap, would be some extra gains with catless or sport car, filter and catback exhaust wont be extra power, only sound difference.
No regrets whatsoever, had mine mapped 4 years ago and never looked back. Totally transforms the car.
I'm itching to get mine mapped, don't think about it, just do it. Buy an ITG/BMC panel filter for around £40 and remove air box foam for sound, replace middle silencer with a straight pipe for around £50 and then a remap and I'm sure you won't look back.
