Once I've fitted my Pro front mount and decat pipe I'm intending to get a Stg2 map, is it worth fitting a Forge actuator and DV (std internal type) before I go for the map (mainly as there'll be abit more room with the cat out of the way). My cars done 52k. Cheers Steve
I personally wouldnt bother changing something unless its failed / broken. I ran good power ( admittedly on a r26 ) with standard actuator.
The Megane 250 actuator is better than the Forge actuator according to Paul at RS Tuning. It's probably worth changing the recirc valve though.
Forge actuator on the 250 is useless at best; only buy it if the stock one is broken and you can't get your hands on another stock actuator. With the Forge, you actually get worse boost controlling than with the standard actuator. The recirc valve is kind of pointless as well.. If the stock one is still working fine, don't bother changing it and save the money.
At the moment only a KTR cat back and a panel filter, but I've got a decat and Pro Alloy cooler/turbo cooler to fit. So want to get it mapped after those bits are on. Steve
Do you really need a turbo cooler on a Megane if you're not running seriously big boost? i can understand an intercooler...
Its only really needed with the Pro alloy cooler as it is so tall and covers most of the rad, bit short sighted on their behalf tbh
